Valerie Verduzco received her Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Davis. She is a proud Tijuana-San Diego native and has a unique perspective on landscapes informed by her transnational upbringing. Through design and art, she explores the tension between ecology and the built environment, creating places that function at a variety of scales. Her experience includes everything from small gardens to large estates, as well as campus design, multi-family housing, and mixed-use developments. She looks forward to continuing to explore the meaning of place and the different ways in which it manifests.
