Tyler moved to California from suburban Kansas to join Schmidt Design Group after attending Kansas State University, where he received his Master’s Degree from the College of Architecture, Planning & Design alongside minor in Regional & Community Planning. His interest in Landscape Architecture and Community Planning led to studies concerning design frameworks and the relationship between designed sites, the surrounding areas, and the population that uses them. He brings experience from his time in Central Texas where his work included community developments, campus expansion projects, community parks, and master planning projects.
