Jeff Justus has 34 years of in-depth experience in private and public landscape architectural practices. A graduate from California State University San Luis Obispo, Jeff is the Technical Partner for Schmidt Design Group, overseeing the firm’s quality control program and successfully managing complex projects with progressive schedules and budgets. In addition to being a licensed Landscape Architect, Mr. Justus is a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) through the National Playground Safety Institute, the most comprehensive training on public playground safety. CPSI’s are certified to inspect playgrounds for safety issues, making sure that each playground they inspect is up to current national standards, developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials and Consumer Product Safety Commission. Jeff is also a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor and a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner/Qualified SWPPP Developer.
