Ian received his bachelor’s degree from Western State Colorado University where he studied environmental studies with a minor in philosophy. Learning about the complex relationship between the natural and built worlds he become heavily involved in creating a local food nonprofit, teaching permaculture courses, and helping to start several small-scale organic farms. Seeing the social and environmental benefits of well-designed community gardens he pursued a Masters of Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University. Since then, Ian has gained experience with residential design, residential remodels, environmental restoration, and commercial projects. He strives to design regenerative and inspiring landscapes at all scales.
