Emily received her Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida. As a Florida native, Emily understands the unique challenges involved in our precious coastlines and is passionate about preserving their vitality and rich ecology. She has been influenced greatly through her travels and books. Her experience includes residential landscape architecture, commercial/institutional campuses and public spaces. At Schmidt Design Group, Emily looks forward to improving her skills and learning more about public and mixed-use projects. She cares deeply about the “soul” of a community and effectively representing that through design and art. Emily enjoys exploring new and familiar places, natural or urban and loves to explore new mediums of creation.
