Alani is passionate about developing a sustainable and accessible urban fabric that relies on natural systems, joint community efforts, and quality design. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture at UC Berkeley and her Master’s degree in Urban Planning at the University of Southern California. Her experience includes residential landscape architecture and corporate campuses. At Schmidt Design Group, Alani looks forward to expanding her body of work with public and mixed-use projects, and applying her urban planning degree to her professional work in landscape architecture. She enjoys exploring the outdoors through running, surfing, and working on her family’s permaculture farm in French Polynesia.
