Schmidt Design Group Stands in Solidarity
Our firm’s ethos is “Positive Change By Design”. That phrase conveys our strong belief that we can have a positive impact on our world through thoughtful and equitable design. Many of us will never understand what it is like to experience oppression, lack of opportunity, or violence against us due to the color of our skin. Our collective heart aches for our fellow citizens who do. The unnecessary and cruel death of George Floyd has become a galvanizing catalyst and we stand with those demanding change; positive change. It is time to raise our voices and advocate for reform to erase systemic racism in our nation. Our firm will be making contributions to non-profit organizations dedicated to combating discrimination and injustice. We will continue sharing messages of equality, hope, and change to drown out those who seek to divide us as a nation. It is our pledge to unite with our fellow citizens to realize Positive Change.
