Schmidt Design Group Honored with CPRS District 12 2024 Impact Award!

Schmidt Design Group has been honored by the California Park & Recreation Society District 12 (San Diego and Imperial Counties), with their 2024 Impact Award!

This award recognized SDG for our long term legacy of creating positive contributions to Park and Recreation in our region. We are so grateful to Susan Richardson (City of La Mesa) for her kind words nominating our firm and to CPRS-D12 for this incredible honor.

For 41 years, it has been our joy to work alongside public agencies throughout San Diego County and beyond to design spaces that improve the quality of life within our communities. Each design crafted by our passionate and talented staff has been in tandem with our dedicated community leaders. Our founder, Glen Schmidt, FASLA, said it best in his acceptance speech, “We share this award with each of you”.

  • Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation – Earth Day Clean Up!
