Schmidt Design Group is excited to announce the promotion of Chris Tiffany to Associate. Chris has a wide range of experience, both public and private, including commercial and educational campuses, parks, open space, and residential developments. His current efforts include multiple residential redevelopment projects exceeding 250 acres; encompassing nearly 2,000 new homes for the region. He is also leading the design and development of numerous public park and trail projects throughout California. Notable projects include Penasquitos Village and The Junipers in San Diego, CA, Center Greens Park in Anaheim, CA, Oak Creek Park in Irvine, CA, and the Zanja Trail and Greenway in Redlands, CA.His ten year career has been grounded in the belief that our experiences and environment can be improved through thoughtful design.
He enjoys exploring design solutions for optimized site performance from an environmental, aesthetic, logistical, and social perspective. As a licensed landscape architect, certified arborist, and SITES accredited professional, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and mentoring emerging professionals both within the firm and through teaching partnerships with local educational institutions. Principal J.T. Barr notes, “We are thrilled to have Chris join our leadership team. His diverse skill set and holistic design approach broaden our reach in manifesting positive change within our communities.”
