Rancho Jurupa Park is a 200-acre recreation and fishing area near the Santa Ana River. This popular award-winning regional park boasts a natural semi-rural setting of shady cottonwood trees, meadows, and two three-acre lakes. Schmidt Design Group, Inc. designed the pre-fabricated cabins that were added to the camping area and the new children’s playground, which utilizes natural materials including a large tree salvaged from the site. Jogging trails, a disc golf course, parking, and circulation and landscape improvements that involved the addition of bioswales and native plantings were also included in Schmidt Design Group, Inc.’s design.
