The recently opened Metro Park provides an active hub for the community of Millenia and residents of Chula Vista. Themed “Performance”, the park creates a forum for civic gathering, concerts, movies, and festivals within the heart of the community. The park’s perimeter includes a woonerf, creating a communal space shared by pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. The woonerf allows access to adjacent retail uses while serving as a canvas for multimodal circulation and community events.
