Schmidt Design Group provided landscape architectural design services for four phases of development at the Ariva Apartments in San Diego. Services have included schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Ariva Apartments Phase 2 and 3 are completed and Phase 4 and 5, also known as Vive Apartments, are completed as well.
Ariva Apartments Phase 2 and 3 are two four-story apartment buildings over underground parking. Each phase has two courtyard spaces over podium deck. Amenities include pools, spas, water features, a barbecue area, fire places and fire pits, and social gathering spaces for residents. Each phase has a jogging trail with exercise stations along the perimeter of the project that connect the neighborhood park and link the buildings together.
