Meet Schmidt Design Group’s Newest Associate
Schmidt Design Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Montgomery to Associate.
Jennifer has managed some of the firm’s most complex and impactful projects including Civita Park Phases 2 & 3, Newland Sierra, and Bonita Cove playground. Her 13 year career has been grounded in a commitment to creating sustainable and high-performance outdoor environments. As a LEED-accredited and SITES-accredited professional, she has shared her expertise with numerous organizations, both locally and nationally, including presentations to the San Diego Green Building Council, The Sustainable Sites Initiative, American Public Works Association, and the American Society of Landscape Architects. Jennifer also plays an instrumental role in mentoring the firms landscape designers and crafting internal educational sessions that further our studio’s capabilities and sustainable practices. She is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture. When not in the studio you can find Jenn tending to her native garden or exploring San Diego with her husband and two young daughters.
