Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation – Earth Day Clean Up!
In celebration of Earth Day this year, members of the Schmidt Design Group team joined the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation in a Lagoon clean up event! Together, they removed invasive species and introduced native plants, installed oyster wattles, and removed trash from the site. We are so grateful for our friends at the Foundation who made this day possible, helping us realize Positive Change within our community!
The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation is a 501C(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon in Carlsbad, CA. They operate The Discovery Center, which invites visitors to “taste nature” through an extraordinary collection of hands-on exhibits, gardens, and live animal ambassadors.
