14th Street Greenway Block 2

The San Diego Tribune highlights the upcoming 14th Street Greenway Second Block! The 14th Street Greenway project recaptures existing roadway and repurposes it to extend the pedestrian greenway connection to the first block. Schmidt Design Group partnered with the The City of San Diego to craft a vision for the second installment of the Greenway! The Second Block is designed as a linear park, providing multiple seating/gathering spaces, dance chimes, chess tables, other interactive play activities, and ample green space and landscaping. A focus of this project highlights the stormwater strategy with a series of terraced weirs placing urban stormwater treatment on display.
